Illusion shows itself in ways like FEAR, DOUBT, WORRY, SHAME etc…and is often carried in our mental, emotional, and physical bodies as stiffness, pain, sluggishness, confusion, exhaustion, and overwhelm.

In this class Mary-Ann will guide you through a brief, gentle yoga sequence to loosen the tension and stretch out the restlessness so that you might be able to lay still (with the comfortable support of props) for a guided somatic meditation intended to take you through the many layers of illusion, shedding what no longer serves you, landing you in the center of your center. EFFORTLESSLY INTEGRATED….in your true nature-where there is only ease and freedom.

While you are resting for the meditation, Laura will offer each participant a generous acupressure treatment meant to support the process of peeling back and letting go.

This class is a POP UP so can be purchased as a single for $30 or you may choose to use your class package. Only 10 participants so register ASAP.

This class is intended to offer women in any life cycle, including peri/menopause tools to build strength as they navigate hormonal fluctuations. Mindfully build strength in community with other woman..leave feeling stronger in body, mind and spirit!

 MICHELE USES TOOLS FROM YOGA, SHIATSU, THE FELDENKRAIS METHOD, TAPPING, BREATH WORK, MEDITATION AND MORE TO CREATE PERSONAL SELF CARE ROUTINES FOR HERSELF and HER CLIENTS.

THIS WORKSHOP IS INTENDED TO HELP YOU CREATE YOURS TOO.

Appropriate for beginners as well as experienced practitioners. Please have a willingness to explore, try something new, participate and collaborate. 

Michele is a certified Kripalu Yoga Teacher who has taught for over two decades in NY . She has also taught in Europe and Asia. She is trained in the Ohashi Method of Shiatsu, which incorporates Japanese acupressure and body work. Before teaching yoga, Michele trained extensively in modern dance at Trinity Laban in London, as well as Nikolais Dance Lab in NYC. She is inspired by the Feldenkrais Method and Tapping which stimulates acupressure points and helps ease stress.

**Sound is energy. Ancient science tells us that we are created from sound. Sound is vibration and everything on this planet is vibrating. When you hear the sounds of the bowls, belss and chimes. your cells begin to do an internal dance. They get shaken up and release all that is harmful. Sound baths can be highly regulating for the central nervous system.

Expect the ultimate restorative and blissful experience.

Note: No yoga experience necessary, this is not a yoga class. All are welcome.

Join the fabulous duo of Joy + Mary-Ann for an afternoon of moving, breathing, meditating and chanting to settle any restlessness and dis-ease of the election season. The uncertainty of this particular moment in time has us all a bit dis-regulated, longing to be calibrated back toward calm.

 The movement and breathing will focus on stabilizing the joints and finding the strength in the stretch (think yin yoga) allowing you to remember your own stable, strong, resilient self.

 The chanting will be of relevant sacred and seed mantras ..so that you might soak in the medicine of the vibrations.

 The meditation will give you ample opportunity to connect to the still space within in the midst of the anguish all around. 

 You will leave knowing your own agency, able to walk with balance into the unknown.
